Product Specialist (Critical Care & Medical)
Our client is a sales, marketing, and technical services company. They are a high growth company that aims to be the partner of choice for their global healthcare suppliers.
They currently have an opening for a Product Specialist who will be required to increase the sales volume and revenue through medical device product sales year on year whilst maintaining strong customer relations and increasing market share. The primary product focus will centre on monitoring, diagnostics, and airway management across a global brand portfolio.
To succeed you must have the ability to build a network of KOLs/advocates, fostering strong relationships to grow market share within the territory. Ensuring you always act with integrity and the highest standard of ethics, and take every opportunity to promote the organisation, its core values, and its standing within the market.
Territory:Field based (ROI/NI)
Candidate Location: Leinster
Role/ Responsibilities:
- Generate profitable territory sales in line with annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets through a combination of appropriate activities with existing and potential customers
- Attend exhibitions and clinical meetings
- Maintain accurate records for the territory
- Attain required objectives designed to increase fiscal revenue, market share and profitability.
- To actively gather market intelligence on our own and competitor portfolio/activities.
- Develop procedural knowledge and expertise
- Act as the company representative in the critical care and medical field for internal and external customers.
- Develop business by creation of educational programs to increase clinician’s safe and effective use of consumables, in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Training.
- Increase overall satisfaction levels at accounts through support of product and procedural applications.
- Continually increase industry knowledge through appropriate training opportunities.
- Maintain and develop Database of customers.
Education/Experience:
- Degree in Science/ Healthcare
- The ability to have a positive impact and convey confidence and credibility to others
- Ability to solicit orders from present and prospective customers for the assigned products, with a high degree of motivation
- Ability to work effectively and co-operatively with others
- Making decisions and taking responsibility, with a flexible and enthusiastic mindset
- Ability to produce results, prioritising objectives and scheduling work to make best use of time and resources
- Skills of a strong negotiator and influencer with excellent interpersonal
- Professional skills- Sales, Sales and Territory Analysis, Budget Management, Presentation skills.
- Ability to meet frequently with customers and other decision makers.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory.
- Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.
- Full clean Irish Driver’s licence
- Proven experience in managing pressure, deadlines and setbacks efficiently while maintaining commitment despite opposition
- Right to work in Ireland
