Your Role
We’re looking for a Senior R&D Engineer with a passion for designing and developing advanced medical devices. You’ll lead technical development efforts from concept to commercialization, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across functions to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of Class II/III medical devices
- Drive design history file (DHF) creation and maintain regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO 13485)
- Perform risk analysis (FMEA), verification & validation (V&V), and root cause analysis
- Partner with clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful product development
- Stay ahead of technological trends and bring forward innovative ideas and solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related Engineering field
- Strong Engineering background and problem solving
- 4+ years of experience in medical device R&D (implantable or diagnostic device experience preferred)
- Proven track record of taking devices from concept to market
- Strong knowledge of design controls, regulatory requirements, and quality systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks or equivalent) and statistical tools (Minitab, JMP)
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
