We’re currently recruiting for an exciting remediation with a pharmaceutical organization based in Greece. This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact in a short space of time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the QC microbiology team.
  • Develop, validate, and implement microbiological tests (sterility, endotoxin, etc.).
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of environmental monitoring programs in production and cleanroom areas.
  • Ensure proper sampling, testing, trending, and analysis of environmental data to maintain regulatory compliance and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Ensure adherence to cGMP, FDA, EMA, and USP standards; review test results and lead out-of-specification (OOS) investigations.
  • Drive process enhancements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare technical reports, and support audits and inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology (or related field); Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of QC microbiology experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Proven expertise in method validation, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with LIMS and current quality control practices.
