Hardware Implementation Engineer


The Hardware role is directly targeted towards candidates who have previous experience on the hardware side. The role is often Client facing, requisite skills in this area are also desirable.

Key responsibilities


  • Build and support Company systems while working as part of a team and/or individually on assembling hardware, installing standard OS, 3rd party software, and Company proprietary software. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
  • Configuring systems
  • Doing quality tests, and documentation as well as ensuring that all parts are unpacked, issued for builds, counted and recorded and then repacked into boxes.
  • Exchanging, replacing and reporting any parts shortages
  • Conducting 3rd party SW integrations, configurations and tests in accordance with build orders, BOMs, CCEs, MPs, QCs and ISO compliance.
  • Creating packing lists; identifying improper or inefficient production procedures and providing feedback and suggestions.
  • Assisting with on-site installation.
  • Perform Logistics duties including the receiving of goods against purchase orders; inspecting received goods; picking parts against build orders; and maintaining inventory records. Accuracy is of the utmost importance.
  • Perform shipping duties - includes making arrangements for delivery of completed products with local carrier(s) to customer locations; and keeping records of said deliveries.
  • Monitoring of Company estate and providing all activites associated with ongoing support and maintenance of the environment.

Education / Experience:

  • Third Level IT related qualification
  • 4-5 years relevant experience in a fast paced environment within an IT Support Organization
  • Microsoft OS and networking knowledge
  • Knowledge of IT integration operation procedures
  • Experience of troubleshooting with proven problem solving abilities
  • Excellent organization/planning skills
  • A customer service orientation
