Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Team Leader
Our client are currently recruiting for an experienced and people-focused EHS Team Leader to drive a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for leading EHS programmes, developing team capability, and ensuring compliance across site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the EHS team
  • Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across the site
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety legislation and internal standards
  • Support risk assessments, audits, inspections, and corrective actions
  • Lead incident investigations and emergency response activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/CI methodologies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, HR, and Quality teams
  • Monitor EHS KPIs and implement data-driven improvements
  • Oversee environmental compliance programmes and contractor management
Requirements
  • Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies desirable
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive behavioural change
