Role:
My client are hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to work on a Next Generation Hardware platform for the lenire tinnitus treatment device. The role would provide exposure to a range of technologies at the forefront of biomedical research and contribute directly to relieving the suffering of millions of people worldwide whose lives are adversely affected by chronic tinnitus.



Company:
My client are a Medical Device company who started up in 2010 and have developed and patented a bimodal neuromodulation technology that it is evaluating for neurological disorders. The lead application of this technology is through a device which has been shown to soothe and relieve tinnitus, a condition affecting 10% of the adult population and commonly known as 'ringing in the ears'.

Having launched in the States in April 2023 and received FDA approval also it is an exciting time to be part of this team.



Responsibilities:

  • Embedded firmware design, implementation and verification for the next generation of the lenire hardware platform.
  • Software aspects of product testing, including reliability validation and performance testing.
  • Supporting effective design and technology transfer from development to manufacturing.
  • Integration of medical devices with telemedicine web applications.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
  • 4 years+ of post graduate embedded firmware development or equivalent low-level C programming experience.
  • Disciplined software development experience.
  • Competency in one or more scripting languages, eg Phyton
