Title: Biomedical Engineer

Role:
As a Biomedical Engineer you will work with Operations team in the next stage of the manufacturing of the product. Dynamic work environment on a variety of commercial and research projects. Work with a range of technologies at the forefront of Biomedical research and every phase from concept to commercial release.



Company:
My client are a Medical Device company who started up in 2010 and have developed and patented a bimodal neuromodulation technology that it is evaluating for neurological disorders. The lead application of this technology is through a device which has been shown to soothe and relieve tinnitus, a condition affecting 10% of the adult population and commonly known as 'ringing in the ears'.

Having launched in the States in April 2023 and received FDA approval also it is an exciting time to be part of this team.



Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the product development team to develop next generation medical devices.


- Support product development from concept to post production


- Support design and technology transfer from PD to manufacturing.


- Provide support to Manufacturing team


- Oversee the analysis of hardware failures from the field


- Perform design activities through 3D and 2D CAD software



Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in biomedical, electronic, electrical, software, or a similar relevant field with technical experience.
  • At least 2+ years' experience within the medical device industry or other regulated environment / related engineering field.
  • Product design and development experience
  • Proficient in Solidworks or equivalent 3D CAD.
  • Good communication skills, customer oriented, independent and self-motivated.
