Our client is a global market leader with a proud history of researching, designing, manufacturing and selling ground-breaking medical devices.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join the team. A strong healthcare background with previous medical device sales experience would be a distinct advantage, but not essential. This post is responsible for the direct sales and promotion of Surgical Medical Devices. Territory is North of Dublin all the way to Letterkenny and across to Galway, so anywhere along the motorway network around Dublin would be considered. The role involves demonstrating medical/surgical equipment to clinical staff within hospitals, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for their portfolio as well as providing training and after sales support.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of a sales territory
  • Attending exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings
  • Work in operating theatres, endoscopy and outpatients’ units in close association with consultants, clinicians and nursing staff
  • Deliver training and offer sales support for current customers
  • Work in conjunction with existing Territory Managers to focus on a defined group of product areas
  • Management of sales prospects on a customer database
  • Put together professional business cases
  • Sales presentations
Experience/Qualifications:

In order to be considered for this role you will have:
  • 1 years + medical device sales experience ideally, but not essential. They will also consider a strong healthcare background (Theatre Scrub Nurse, Staff Nurse, Clinical Advisor, Physiotherapist, midwife, physicians associate, radiography, physiology background)
  • Self-motivated with a strong will to succeed
  • Highly skilled in organising and planning multiple demands & priorities
  • Demonstrates high levels of integrity in dealings with external & internal customers
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Highly motivated to provide exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Focussed personal continuous improvement & development
