Our client is a provider of choice for technical support, service and validation of scientific instrumentation used in research & control laboratories within the Pharmaceutical & Biopharma Sectors across Ireland. They provide Multi-Vendor Services on analytical equipment within the life Sciences Sector. They are seeking an experienced sales professional, with previous sales experience into the Pharmaceutical Industry, of Multi-Vendor contracts. This person shall be strategic with conceptional management of sales in Ireland. They will work in close cooperation, coordination and communication with internal sections (service, administration, product management).
Role/Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for all Multi-Vendor (MV) contract renewals and new business for MV within existing and new clients in Ireland
- Regular customer key account review meetings with the Head of Services
- Successful realization of Ireland goals
- Close cooperation, coordination and communication with internal sections (service, administration, product management)
- Supervision of key accounts in the sales region
- Responsible for all MV sales activities and working closely with local sales and local service team leads and Head of Serviced GB_IE_Nordics.
- Responsible for all events, fair attendances and seminars in the sales region
- Consolidation of existing business relations as well as establishment of new customers and business partners in the sales region
- Cooperation with innovations in marketing, sales and product development
- Continuous improvement of internal processes for efficient sales transactions in cooperation with other departments.
Education/Experience:
- Scientific qualification – ideally Chemistry ; strong knowledge of chromatography essential
- 3-5 years’ experience of selling multi-vendor service agreements and renewals
- Previous sales experience into Pharma/Biopharma Industry
- Multi-Vendor contract renewal & business development essential
- Must be a very process driven individual with excellent experience of CRM systems
- Have an excellent standard of computer literacy with excel and analytical skills
- Full, clean driver licence essential
